Abstract

This is a an autopsy case of a 1 month old male with an incidental finding of Toxoplasmosis in the heart. Other pertinent autopsy findings include Transposition ofthe Great Arteries, Ventricular Septal Defect, Patent Foramen Ovale, and Cardiomegaly. The congenital heart diseases mentioned are quite common in our Center, but the additional finding of Toxoplasmosis would warrant a second look into this case. On  might ponder whether this could have contributed to the cause of death.
