This study aimed to determine the Level of Perceived Stress and its influence towards Decision Making Process among Third Year College students of Cebu Doctors' University. This study is conducted in Cebu Doctors' University to 434 third year college students which was determined using the random stratified sampling method. The instruments used were the Perceived Stress Scale by Sheldon Cohen and the Melbourne Decision Making Questionnaires I + II (MDMQ) by Leon Mann.

The findings of the study showed that out of the 434 respondents, 71% (308) had high level of stress, 27% (118) had moderate level of stress and 2% (8) had low level stress. Furthermore, the respondents' had a moderate Decision Self-Esteem with a mean of 6.72 and high Vigilance Decision Making style with a mean of 9.14. They had a moderate Hypervigilance Decision Making Style with a mean of 6.32, low Buck-Passing Decision Making Style with a mean of 5.67 and low Procrastination Decision Making Style with a mean of 5.15Partial correlation showed that only the Decision self-esteem (-0.329) and Hypervigilance decision making style (0.245) has a weak relationship with Perceived Stress.

Based on the findings, the following conclusions were made: Majority of the third year students on the school year 2015 - 2016 experienced high level of stress. The respondents have high decision self-esteem and their means of coping with decision situations is using the Vigilance decision making style, however they sometimes have the tendency to use the Hypervigilance, Buck-passing and Procrastination decision making styles. In times of decision situations, their high level of stress would reduce their decision self-esteem and raise their tendency to use the Hypervigilance decision making style while lowering their Vigilance, Buck-passing and Procrastination decision making styles. From the conclusions, the researchers recommend that the Guidance Office develop stress reduction programs and activities that can help reduce the students' stress and provide a seminar or program for the Parents to encourage and build a positive attitude toward their child with regards to their self and school performance as to minimize the pressure they may feel. The student council of each college is encouraged to make fun activities that can help the students' release some of their stress in a positive way like sports or fun games. The institution is encouraged to provide an area within the school where students can go relax or unwind in order to help cope with their stress level.
