Abstract

       The study was conducted in the Special Education Centers of Cebu City to determine the Occupational Performance deficits among mentally retarded children with ages 7-15 years old.


       The subject of the study were 22 mentally retarded children, 13 of which are moderately retarded and 7 moldly retarded and 2 were specified.


       The common occupational performance areas that were posing problems to theses mentally retarded are the ares of grooming, dressing, toilet hygiene, clothing care, play/leisure skills and educational activities.
